Securing planning permissions and/or allocations for office and industrial developments is a major area of work for Sanderson Weatherall's planning team.  In relation to office developments, latest current Government Guidance has reintroduced  a very much town centre orientated approach and we believe that it will be become increasingly difficult to secure new permissions and allocations for out of town business parks.  Consequently, early involvement in the Development Plan system is essential, particularly for any major schemes.

In relation to both office and industrial schemes, negotiation of planning permission and minimising planning gain contributions remain crucial to developers and landowners.  Sanderson Weatherall's experience in such negotiations has frequently resulted in significant costs savings in these regards.
