City Living & Investment

The renaissance in city living is now well established in many of the country’s principal cities including Leeds.  Many other Yorkshire towns and cities are also developing residential opportunities including Wakefield, Sheffield, Dewsbury and Harrogate.  Former West Yorkshire mill properties are also in the process of regeneration, examples include Titanic Mills and Valley Mills at Elland.

In Leeds, the process of regeneration commenced in the early 1990’s.  The riverside area around The Calls was the first area to be targeted by residential developers.  Today, an increasing large number of residential developments are taking place, not only within the city centre, including Bridgewater Place, West Point, Whitehall Quays, Whitehall Waterfront, The Quays on Concordia Street, to name but a few but also in the city fringes including North Street, East Street and the exciting new Roberts Wharfe by City Lofts.

KW Linfoot’s proposed Lumiere development in Wellington Street is due to rise to 52 storeys, one of Europe’s tallest residential development schemes.

Leeds has much to offer with a wealth of business, retail and leisure facilities.  Investors and owner occupiers alike make up a dynamic market place.
