Only one unit remains at new high-tech Business Park

Businesses are being urged to take advantage of the last remaining space at a state-of-the-art business park in Catterick Garrison.
 
‘Target@Colburn’ at Colburn Business Park offers six brand new light industrial / warehouse units which have been created by CFK Developments of Wetherby. 
 
The latest tenant to take-up residency is JCL Enterprises, an aluminium fabrication company formerly of Brompton-on-Swale which has completed on 5,000 sq ft of high-tech space.
 
Sanderson Weatherall and Ryden acted on behalf of CFK. Jonathan Simpson, associate at Sanderson Weatherall and letting agent for the new units, said he was delighted with the recent take up of units which has seen five of the six sold or let in only three months.
 
He said: “Catterick is no longer just recognised as an army garrison – businesses are interested in this thriving residential and business community which has been developed and is well supported by the local authority’s commercial development policies and initiatives. And, we expect the recent high level of activity at Target@Colburn to be the catalyst for Colburn Business Park to take its place as the premier business location in the area.
 
“As well as the civil development, the Ministry of Defence has also announced significant investment in their operations at Catterick, so the scene is set for the town to develop into a highly significant and strategically placed business town.
 
“One of the great things about this site is that there is room for expansion. If firms who move in need to expand, there will be room to do so as the scheme has further planning permission for offices, light industry and other complimentary uses.”
 
The development of Target@Colburn has catered for companies looking to expand and re-locate from Richmond and surrounding areas. There is a further seven acres of land available for development with units offered on a design and build basis. This can provide flexible business space from 500 to 30,000 sq ft.
